Don't let the jagged nature of the stage profiles confuse you. Denmark is not hilly. We don't even know why they categorized those climbs. Like 200m? Whatever.

We expect Pedersen and Skjelmose from Lidl - Trek to be favourites. They had strong form at the Tour and will want to show up big for their local crowd. We're liking Skjelmose more because of the podium last year and also that he has an extremely strong time trial.

The time trial in the finale should be intriguing. Sixteen kilometers is long enough that the time differential potentially gained can matter.

There's some pretty durned good looking photos of each of the stage we've included. We wish we could take photos that well.

Last year's top ten

Stage two was an ITT and the seconds that Sheffield, Laporta and Skjelmose gained there carried them roughly to the finish in terms of GC position. So take name and number of those who can time trial. Especially because this year's TT is 1/4 longer than last years.

Everything else is flat bunch sprints - despite not looking like that.
