Race Profile
Previously won in 2022 by Andreas Leknessund. The race was closely fought, and decided on the final day by a handful of seconds. Doesn't seem like Leknessund had to perform remarkably on the prior three days to claim the throne - which indicates that as long as you stay close on GC you'll be fine.
Time bonuses matter a lot as indicated by Leknessund jumping 23 slots on the final day
The final two days of this year's edition could prove to be decisive, what with rather difficult climbs close to the finish.
Value Picks
Any of the lesser known Norwegian riders could be a good shout. Krist Neilands went last year and has been looking 🔥 at this year's Tour de France. But given that probably won't generate short odds.
There's always good value to be found at smaller races - unfortuantely Neilands isn't going this year, but we still think Leknessund is decent value to perform well again at 9.00. Will IPT be going for more than just a stage with Frigo? Who knows. Odds say Teuns for them at the moment, but we're skeptical.
